  • Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls were manufactured in Thailand in 1997, and were tested in the period between 1997 and 1998 and they were actually implemented in 1999.

What is the warranty period and validity?

  • The validity of the elide fire Extinguishing balls 6 years for Red Color Coded Balls & 3 years for Blue Color Coded Balls.

  • It is Warranty for Red Color Coded Balls is 5 years and for Blue Color Coded Balls is 2 years from the date of activation of QR Code patched on Each Ball.

What is the Fire Extinguishing Agent used?

  • Aerosol - Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls contain mono-ammonium phosphate with very high purity reaches 90% combined with unique other chemical compounds modified to have the same density as air (gives total flooding effect ), under The European Standards EN 16263 for (Aerosol generators) and it is safe for human health, animals and the environment (CE 1395-certified).
     

  •  Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls are patented with certificate number WO2004/014489 A1.

What is the difference between the types of balls?

  • There are three types of elide fire balls and they are available in two different sizes:

  • ELB01 (6”) convenient to be used manually or Automatically in open areas.
     

  • ELB02 (4”) is available in two types:

  • ELB02-01 ( Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls 4”) in red color to secure facilities and small areas ( ex: electric panels & IT servers ).

  • ELB02-02 ( Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls 4”) in blue color to secure engines of cars and any transportation vehicle.

What temperature does Elide Fire Extinguishing Ball operate at?

  • Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls don't operate by temperature.

  • It operates by a flame or continuous electric spark touching the body of the ball  for a period of no less than 3 - 5 seconds.

  • Tests have been done on Elide Fire Extinguishing balls that it can withstand a temperature between -85 : 95 degrees Celsius.

  • Elide Fire 4" inch balls cover:

    • In the case of Local Application in non class B Fire Hazards, an area of 3.14 square meters.

    • In the case of total Flooding, a volume of 0.8 cubic metres.
       

  • N.B.:
    For Coverage Calculations for quantities there is a Fitting Curve diagram calculations done bby the Consultant Engineering Office Acknowledged by the Exclusive Agent ( El Gendi Est. For Fire Fighting Extinguishing Balls ) according to site survey & inspection and that is done when it is required to integrate Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls with GR System.

Elide fire balls cover 5 categories of fire, which are:

  • Class C: Fires caused by natural gases.

  • Class E: Fires caused by continuous electric sparks.

  • Class K: Fires caused by cooking oils.

How to apply to be a distributor?

A commercial register and tax card must be available to be accepted to apply as sub-distributor or as an outlet, and an annual contract must be signed with EL Gendi Group.

 

There are three systems to be a distributor with us:
 

Exclusive Sub- Distributor (SSD):

  • Providing an official office in the main city of the Governorate or in the industrial zone of the governorate is a must.

  • Must be specialized in Fire Fighting & Fire Protection Field.

  • Must hire a dedicated team for marketing and sales of Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls.
     

Authorized Sub-Distributor (ASD):

  • Providing an official office in the main city of the Governorate or in the industrial zone of the governorate is a must.

  • Must be specialized in Fire Fighting & Fire Protection Field.

  • Must hire a dedicated team for marketing and sales of Elide Fire Extinguishing Balls.
     

Selling outlets (POS):

  • Must have an official Selling outlet in one of the main streets in the city.

  • Must be specialized in Fire Fighting & Fire Protection Field.

  • Must provide a pace in the facade of the outlet to show Elide Fire Extinguishing Ball.
