By God’s grace and mercy, the visit of His Excellency, The Director - General of Foreign Affairs of THAILAND for the region of South Asia, the Middle East and Africa, Mr. Darm Boontham, and the delegation of the Defense College of Thailand to the Arab Republic of Egypt visited His Excellency Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Tarras (CEO of the Arab Organization for Industrialization) to discuss opportunities Cooperation, joint manufacturing and investment between the two countries.
Dr. Ahmed El Gendi (Chairman & CEO of El Gendi Group - Elide Fire Egypt, Middle East & Africa) was honored to receive His Excellency and the accompanying delegation at the home of His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan (Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Arab Republic of Egypt) to celebrate the success of the visit and Discussing the next steps to activate joint cooperation between the two countries on issues of common interest.

Dr. Ahmed El-Gendi, Chairman & CEO of El-Gendi Group (Elide Fire Egypt - Middle East and Africa) met with His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan (Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Arab Republic of Egypt) and His Excellency Mr. Thalerngsak Vongsamsorn (Minister Counsellor - Commercial at The Royal Embassy of Thailand in Cairo) at The Royal Embassy of Thailand in Cairo.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed El-Gendi expressed his happiness at the warm reception and the two parties discussed the development and progress that Egypt is witnessing recently during the era of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi (President of the Arab Republic of Egypt) and the various investment opportunities for the Thai investors in Egypt, whether On the industrial, commercial and agricultural levels, and the opportunities for cooperation between the Thai and Egyptian private sectors, which allow the Thai investor the opportunity to enter the Arab and African market through Egypt as a starting point in various fields.
The two parties also discussed and ensured the need to provide protection for patents and preserve intellectual property rights for inventions and trademarks of Thai origin, especially during the process of transferring manufacturing technology for various products in Egypt to become the starting point for the Arab and African market.
The two parties concluded the conversation by agreeing to develop an action plan to start studying the needs of the Thai investor to encourage him to invest in Egypt and the opportunities for joint cooperation closest to the needs of the Egyptian Arab-African market in cooperation with El-Gendi Group and its strategic partners.
